INNERview Interview with James Powerdly
I didn't watch this whole interview, but I found James pretty interesting! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VoFkqLKPAL0
What I Learned from this Class
On a practical note I learned how to use Photoshop, which I now love! Since our first project I now use Photoshop ALL THE TIME at work. I also took away form the class the impact digital media has on the world around us.
Favorite Project from Class
My favorite project from class has to be the one on the passage of time. I was really inspired by the goings on in Syria and I was so thrilled that I had the opportunity to spread awareness of the issues surrounding Syrian refugees.
Illustrator Shortcuts
I really did not enjoy working in Illustrator, however; this page has some good shortcut tips. http://www.nobledesktop.com/shortcuts/illustratorcs5/mac/
New Media Installation in Seattle
"Lean-out, Lean-to was triggered by an encounter with an inventive truck canopy turned shed in a quiet neighborhood in Spokane. The multi-media installation revolves around a sculptural interpretation of that make-shift shed as a monolithic chamber of secrets. Through stop-motion animations of enigmatic and obscured landscapes and recordings of animal mimicry, distress, and song, the Jack Straw New Media Gallery will be altered into a stage set for a forgotten story." http://www.jackstraw.org/

Video Art
The link contains "50 great works of video art." http://flavorwire.com/399191/50-great-works-of-video-art-that-you-can-watch-online. I like number 2.
Interventionist Art
For those of you not in the DTC 356 class, as our final projects we had to complete an interventionist art video. Complete with video editing. Here is some good info on the roots of interventionist art.
